So should I lower babyCar (the '72) or not? If I do lower him, should I do it just in the front or front & back? What parts should I get and what brand? They did a 2nd gen lowering project in Camaro Performers with QA1 Pro Coil kit from Summit Racing. It's adjustable, but I don't think I'd ever adjust anything.....I just want a better stance for him.

Suggestions?

As for the wheel issue, all I could find in the Cragar S/S's was 15". Also looked at Tire Rack's Ultra Comet -- again, only 15's. Shouldn't I get 16's? Would 16's still leave enough for white-letter tires? (I MUST have white-letter tires.....)

so much to do..........so confusing.......

I have a 73 Z-28 that needs floor pans, trunk pan and other assorted body repairs. I had a guy helping me who supposedly knew what he was doing. He was a hack and I have undone most of his work. It has been stripped and is sitting in my garage. I am at the point where I need to replace the bad sections and I am not technical enough to do it. I could do it but, don't want to have to do it a third time. I want to get it right this time. Is there anyone in this group that has the experience and know how to help me do this kind of work? Or do you know someone or a shop that does this kind of thing? I am not afraid of working hard or getting dirty. Just don't have the technical background for it, yet.

I think there was a shop in Keller years ago that did this kind of thing but, it is long gone.

Thanks!

Currently, I need used Right and Left Front Seat Belts/Lap Belts only (portion that goes around the waist).

Once we do the body/paint restoration, I'll install a Morris 3 point harness system, but for now, we just need at the least the Left Front Seat Belts/Lap Belts. (driver's side).

DFW Charity Racing's friend and Car Show partner, Ray's Catfish, closed their doors for the last time Monday. This was a surprise to us all and we hate to see them go. This leaves DFW Charity Racing in a huge predicament. Ray's was where our monthly car shows were scheduled through November. In addition to the parking, they also payed for the trophies so that we could have more to help local families with special needs children. We are in DIRE need of a new partner and location where we can continue our car shows. We committed to our current family (http://www.dallasnews.com/news/commu...bowie-high.ece) that everything we make from our monthly shows will go to helping them. Please help us keep this promise.

Please contact me, Brian Harris, at (214) 906-6607 if you have any leads or have a business that would like the benefit of added business and advertising. We usually prefer shows at a food venue to keep us from having to cook and it provides immediate results to the hosting establishment. However, in our current situation we are open to anything. All we would require is a location in the Dallas, Mesquite, Garland, Plano, Richardson or surrounding areas that provides easy access and parking for at least 60 vehicles, a power outlet, and will pay for the trophies (about $350). We would like to try to keep it somewhere along highways 635, 30, or 75.

Please help us so we can keep our car shows going and continue to help special needs children like Peyton Jarrett and his family this year.

Thank You,

I refinished my Y88 wheels and got new tires for them and now have a set of 4 15 X 8 snowflake wheels and tires for sale. I refinished these about 18 months ago and painted them gold and polished the edge of the snowflake and the lip to shine. Tires have about 70% tread left and are 235/70/15
$650 for the set. If interested, please PM me. I can email bigger pictures if requested

Good Afternoon:

I'm getting back into the hobby after being away for a long time!

I have a 1973 Z-28 and need to replace the seat belts.

I know that Morris is one brand that has a 3 point harness which is what I need.

A couple of questions (thanks in advance for the help):

1. Do you know if i can use my existing shoulder harness if I install a new seat belt like a reproduction from Morris?
2. What tools do I need to purchase to complete this installation?
3. If there a manual that shows step by step instructions on how best to remove old shoulder harness and install a new one?

Thanks.
It's that time of year when there are more projects than money or time!

When the internal parts begin to wear out for the roll down/crank windows, is it typically the regulator that needs to be replaced? My driver's side window on the 73 Z-28 is starting to hang up and is not aligned/straight any longer when you attempt to roll it up and down.
